Energy levels were a little low today. I can tell there's quite a few students coming down with sore throats. Parents, you might want to get your kids to bed a little earlier. A good rest will keep their immune systems in check. Believe it or not...teens need 9 hours or more of sleep. Their bodies are growing and changing a lot in middle school.
To help promote healthy habits, we're going to be learning about hand washing tomorrow. We'll be using UV light to show where bacteria like to hang out. Don't worry...we have special UV filtering goggles. Safety is our number one concern at Shaw.
