We've been busy starting our new unit, scientific inquiry. Students will be busy developing their own experiments using different toys. Each day, they'll be graphing line graphs and bar graphs about experiments using toys. You might be asking, why toys? When studying the breakdown of the scientific method, it's good to use something familiar to students. It also brings own their inner child, which is refreshing to see in middle school students who try so hard to be teens.
Test scores from the scientific method unit have been recorded. Students are invited to do retakes at the last ten minutes of lunch this week. Some grades dropped as students rushed through the test. It's important to remind students to slow down, and read each question. The next test is on Friday, October 19th.
